Bird of Peace, Encaustic Mixed Media Pin MAKING
I’ve heard that peace is not the absence of conflict. So it must be the ability to think of others interests rather than just your own. Imagine a world where everyone was more interested in the welfare of others than getting their way or protecting what’s theirs…the fear of scarcity replaced by real love.
Details:
Encaustic Mixed Media on layered cardboard base.
Approx. 3 ½ x 2 ½ x ½ inches = a big little whimsical wearable painting
Information about the nature and care of encaustic paintings will be included.
Your encaustic-cardboard pin should be treated like you would treat other delicate jewelry. As with ceramic brooches and fine stones, scratches and dings will be part of the life of this wearable work of art.
The "artist's hand" is evident in all of my work- imperfections, drips, wonky bits, etc.
Signed on front. Title, signature, date on back.
Please note that colors will/may vary in person. I do my best to represent the actual colors, but my photography and photo editing skills have their limits.
